The Bakery

Flour Circus is a DMV-area micro bakery providing high quality, handcrafted baked goods that bring delight to every moment, from the mundane to the milestone. We utilize time-honored baking and pastry techniques to produce an array of small batch indulgences that we love and know you will, too! The name Flour Circus was chosen to reflect the enchantment and excitement that results from getting creative with flour. While we take our craft and food quality seriously, we delight in our work and the opportunity to bring some joy to your life, one treat at a time. The Owner

Arlana Agiliga was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Growing up, she enjoyed the multicultural foods (to name a few: jolloff rice, fried plantain, roti, curry chicken) of her parents’ home nations as much as she enjoyed the many wonders of American cuisine (in no particular order: mac & cheese, hot dogs and baked beans, funfetti cake). Over time, her appreciation for and interest in food evolved from a weekend hobby to a professional pursuit. Prior to starting Flour Circus, Arlana completed her formal training at the Culinary Arts Institute in Hudson County, New Jersey and further honed her skills through various industry positions. She looks forward to sharing her passion for pastry and baking with the Flour Circus community!
